Aim

To design an attractive Digital India awareness poster using Microsoft Word by applying formatting, WordArt, Shapes, Icons and Images.

• Insert and format Shapes.
• Insert, resize and align Images.
• Apply text formatting.
• Develop creativity using digital tools.

Software Required

• Microsoft Word
• Windows Computer

Prerequisite Knowledge

• Create and save a Word document.
• Format text.
• Insert pictures.
• Use basic drawing tools.

Procedure

1. Open Microsoft Word.
2. Create a Blank Document.
3. Set the page orientation to Portrait.
4. Insert a colourful Page Border.
5. Click Insert → WordArt.
6. Type the title: DIGITAL INDIA.
7. Increase the font size to about 32–40.
8. Insert Shapes such as:
   • Rounded Rectangles
   • Stars
   • Callouts
   • Arrows
9. Insert pictures related to:
   • Computer
   • Laptop
   • Smartphone
   • Internet
   • Digital Payments
   • Wi-Fi
   • India Map
10. Add the following slogans:
    • 💻 Digital India
    • 📱 Empowering Citizens
    • 🌐 Connected Nation
    • 💳 Cashless Economy
    • 📚 Digital Education
11. Align all objects neatly.
12. Use appropriate colours.
13. Save the file as: Digital_India_Poster.docx
